Our Mission

The goal of Step Out Summit is to equip parents with information and resources and to help them form a like-minded community, so they will have the courage to Step Out of institutional schooling and take up their God-given responsibility for the education and discipleship of their children.

The Step Out Summit is a one day conference for parents seeking alternatives to institutional education.

   + What are the state laws & requirements?
     + What is a micro school & how do I start one?
     + How and where do I find curriculum?
     + Can I home educate my special needs child?
     + How can I teach high school?
     + How do I teach multiple ages at once?
     + What does it cost to home or micro school?
     + Can single or working parents home educate?
     + If I can't home educate, what can I do?
     + What does a home school day look like?
     + What about socialization?
